Sabrenda Braceful is a first-generation college student from Detroit, Michigan, who recently graduated with honors from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor with a Bachelor’s Degree in Community & Global Public Health and a Minor in Business. She’s conducted award-winning health equity research, studied abroad in the Dominican Republic, worked in community health settings, and interned in the Henry Ford Health population health department under the mentorship of the current Chief Operating Officer.
She has been accepted into all of her graduate school programs, including Cornell University, the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, and the University of Michigan. She received a 75% tuition scholarship from the University of Michigan for her Master’s in Health Services Administration. However, she still needs help funding the remaining 25% of her tuition, totaling $18,000 out of $72,000. While she plans to work a part-time job during her studies to cover the remaining balance, Sabrenda will find it challenging to cover it in addition to rent and other living expenses.
To support Sabrenda, her education, and her goal of making a significant impact in the Metro-Detroit healthcare system, she is seeking donations. Every dollar received will go directly toward her education, supporting her long-term goals of improving hospital operations, enhancing the quality of healthcare delivery, and serving the residents of Detroit and minorities effectively. She would be incredibly grateful for any support you can offer!
